‘Kajstråket’ is situated in an area in Västerås where new architecture is mixed with hundred-year-old history. Located next to the old Steam Power Plant, which has recently been converted into a luxury hotel, lays this newly built promenade with a fantastic view over the lake Mälaren.

The lighting has been carefully detailed to highlight the materiality along the quay. Every position is well hidden and dimmed so that it doesn’t steal the show from the beautiful sunset over the lake.
